The owl man just blinked at what was slowly disintegrating into a human male with his hand outstretched in some sort greeting gesture.
He just said, 'don't touch me again', didn't he?
The figure frowned, flicking his eyes back to the human's mollifying attempts at camaraderie. He wasn't too fond of him, especially after that little stunt. But, despite the overwhelming urge to think him, it had to be done.
He sighed, accepting his likely fate as a failure with this skinny twig of a partner, and began, "I don't like you. I'm not shaking your hand... But I will join you in this 'team' thing," he frowned at this one, "if only so I can advance."
Huffing, he crossed his arms over his chest and gazed back into the distance, considering the subject done and closed, and choosing instead to think on his immediate future. His face turned once more to the other, his expression appearing more inquisitive than internally debating the pros and cons of the homicide of a certain human.
"Where's that other person you mentioned," he grumbled, raising an eyebrow just a fraction in hopes that maybe the other will have found someone more... tolerable.

Resha looked at the fish-man, he was taller than her and even when he was relaxed he looked intimidating. "Nice to meet you Mr. Alex, my name is Resha and the miss here is Miss. Ilya. " she said thinking 'Now that we are three we can pass this test.' After presenting herself she began waiting for the five minutes to pass. She was really hoping nothing would happen in this time. All they have to do is wait.

"Mister..?" Alex muttered to himself, a sour taste left on his lips after saying the word. He wasn't even that old. "Huh. Alright then. And in case you guys didn't know, I am not a fish. I am a Torine. So don't call me a fish—it's kind of offensive, really." They had formed their team fairly quickly, and as the others had alreadg deduced—there was nothing other to do than wait. So he waited.

Phew, At least he had 1 person now, all he had to do was find the Merman. Adrien hoped nobody else had got to him already so he moved quickly.
"He should be somewhere in here." Adrien told the owl dude, "Give me a second I'll try to do something about all this dust." Adrien clutched his pendant tightly and released as much shinsoo as he could without fainting from exhaustion. The lighting got brighter and brighter until everything around them was clearly visible.
"Follow me," Adrien said and he ran ahead glancing around for any sign of the Merman.
Unlucky as he was, he spotted the Merman with 2 other girls, one of them who was the young girl he noticed earlier and the other was another girl who he didn't know. Seeing them all together threw all his plans down the bin.
They needed one more person, and they would have to do it fast.

"Sorry, Alex," Ilya said, "I'll be more careful." Ilya extended her hands to her new teammates. The only requirement would be to be touching each other, with two minutes left, that didn't seem too big of a deal, but with this many people around it would be better to not let anyone try to steal her teammates. "We need to be touching to advance, may as well sit and relax for a little."

The influx of light suddenly grew and the owl man reflexively stepped back, clapping a hands over his eyes. As the distance and a barrier weren't negligible benefits anyways.
"I would appreciate a warning next time," he growled, but followed the human's once again vague shape. And he had just been able to discern nose from mouth too, god dang it. He swore, if he didn't get to some area without all this goddamn sunlight confusing his vision, he would be absolutely home free and possibly do a little jig from being relieved of a now blooming headache he knew always came around bright areas.
And who exactly thought night vision would be a totally cool thing? Curse my family and their genetic trait for screwed up eyes!' he internally wailed, thumping against the walls of his mind to the beat of a dull throb.
However, despite his internal cavity search, if he squinted his eyes and crinkled his nose, he could just barely make out three smudges of people in the distance. Either that or some very suspicious rock sculptures. He thought he was safe in assuming the former. Sniffing, he grumbled, "Sure hope one of them isn't the one you wanted to recruit."
Goodness, how unlucky would that be?

Aiden sighed, "Well... Pfft, how could doubt me. Its not like i wanted the Merman or the girls in our team. Ha... ha... The other guy is probably somewhere here..."
Aiden had an idea, granted it was stupid and not likely work but there only hope at this point. The one who created the dust cloud still had to be somewhere close by. Thought it didn't appear to be a trapped something must have lead to it being created. 'And its creator still had to be in there somewhere'
Giving one last glance at the trio he looked at the owl dude and gestured in the direction they had come. "I'm going to use my light again," Aiden informed the owl man, "Be careful."
Once again Aiden funneled energy through his pendant lighting up the area once again. The exhaustion was mounting up and he would have no energy once this would be done. Aiden ran fast, the light would not last long or him either...
As luck would have it there was someone. Someone peculiar for a human that is. Red eyes, a sickly complexion... But he was their only hope.
Aiden waved at him and shouted, "Hey there, want to join our team?"

The timer marked 5:00. Everyone was touching their teammates. The temperature and flow of the Shinsoo around was pleasant, as nobody was fighting... or moving for that matter. The golden cube made yet again another announcement.
"The second test is over now. Everyone stay still for a couple of seconds before we teleport you to our next testing area. The 3 people holding each other at this moment are considered a team. I will meet you soon. In the mean time, do not fight or you will be disqualified".
Everyone was teleported to a wide courtyard that has no decoration other than a flat platform probably used as a stage. A quick look around would reveal the fact that there were not anywhere near 200 regulars. Only 20 teams seem to had passed the first test. Some were talking out loud, some were silently observing everyone else. It was a long wait for the Ranker to appear.

Resha assessed the situation from where she was staying, next to her team mates. 'The number of regulars who passed the test are under one hundred. It must have been hard to find a team in five minutes.' She looked around at the teams who have passed. She saw the uninteresting human from before, with a bird like man and another person. 'They must have meet in that smoke cloud.' She looked again to see if she could recognize anyone else. Then she saw a person she could swear she saw before. After thinking about it she remembered. 'The sniper from before, but wasn't he supposed to be buried under a pile of rocks? Something is going on with him, I must be careful.' Still thinking she looked at his team. It was formed out of a hooded person and a floating child whose simile was scaring her.

The teleportation revived Ilya's headache. Flowing a little bit of shinsoo through her head quickly relieves the problem, this would be dangerous if she wasn't used to it. Ilya looks around the courtyard. Resha and Alex were standing next to her, and several dozens of people, grouped in teams of 3, were scattered about the large room, they must be all that passed the test. Comparing the amount of people here to the adults who attended the town meetings her father held in Liboa, the amount of people looked roughly the same, meaning no more than 60 people, or 20 teams, passed. Suddenly a man collapsed, no one other then his team approached to help. Looking at the man's team, Ilya realized they were the other people from the dust cloud. "What happened to him?" she voices aloud in wonder. Ilya couldn't just leave him alone, but he might not have the shinsoo aptitude to handle her running some shinsoo through his body. Better to just leave him alone.

(Sorry it took so long guys. I had a lot going on and I wasn't able to post. But here ya go! A good reason as to why I wasn't around in RP.)
So... noisy.... When will they just hurry up and kill each other.. I'm getting sick of this.. Viorah though as he laid against the ground, perfectly safe from the battle taking place around him.
To recap what had happened to our hero since we last saw him, as the dust cloud appeared Viorah had taken a few moments to decide what he was going to do. Snipers looking his way and all. But before he had decided on a plan, it seemed everyone and their mother had decided to jump into his dust cloud for a good ol' battle royal. One was easy enough, two was manageable, but three more combatants? That was just asking him to do far to much work.
So he went with the logical option, he laid down. The bubble like shape of his shield allowing him to lay down perfectly underneath it and not worry from an attack from any angle. And so he laid there, listening to the sounds of battle and wondering when one of these storm troopers where actually going to hit one another and call it a day. Maybe it was the dust cloud that made them so incompetent, or maybe this was just the gathering of the regulars most in need of glasses, but amazingly none of them managed to strike a mortal blow on one another in the time it took for all the other regulars to kill two hundred of their own.
Annnnnnnnnd that is when his heart sank. He was going to have to team up with the storm troopers.. So.. team up... die in the next text... Probably.. Maybe... They might be decent. They probably aren't.. Could I teach them how to aim? Wait is one of them an owl? Owl's are suppose to have good sight. Fish not so much... Okay owl is good, owls can be taught.. Do I wing it on the other one? Haha... Wing it.. Owl man... Haha.. Oh god, that joke was terrible, I should feel ashamed. Wait... Someone hit someone? Two people that can aim? Maybe we wont die.. In fact, maybe only one of THEM will die. I can stay safe. Then again there is always next test... Would they let me take the test again if I said I didn't join a team because I wasn't sure of them? Probably not... God damn it.. Five seconds left... Well, for Queen and country I suppose.
When the dust had settled, it had settled right over Viorah's shield, making it look as if he was only a pile of dirt, hiding in plain sight. So it had probably taken them all by surprised as the dust shot in the air and out flew a man, arms extended as he jumped in between the Owl man and the other boy. "Heeeeeey teammates!" He shouted, and then... And then they where gone.

Aizo Zaafi : (Team as yet to named)
The owl man stumbled upon hitting the solid ground of the courtyard, his face twisted into an angry grimace.
Why the hell was everyone he saw tackling him?! Had no one any sense of personal space?
"Oi," he growled, lifting his needle to point at the somewhat fuzzy form of... what was probably human? It was very pale and skinny, so Aizo was not quite sure. Either way, it was short, and it had just nearly knocked him over. He wasn't too happy with it, regardless of what it... exactly was.
"Who the fuck are you, asshole," he threatened, swaying the point from his face to his neck - maybe? It really didn't help that the place he had been teleported to wasn't much darker than the previous open field. He was missing the gritty dust cloud already. The headache that had begun to blossom earlier was now thoroughly pounding a salsa straight through his skull, and god freaking dammit, it hurt.

Adrien : Team, Yet to be named
'Wow this was coming together better than i thought. The third guy came to us. I guess there's nothing wrong. Oh of course other than the fact that he tackled us and is lying on top me.'
Adrien shoved aside the newcomer and groaned. All his joints hurt and they'd teleported just as they were tackled, meaning it wasn't the grass underneath him but some hard floor. He dusted himself and got up. Looking around Adrien noticed that from the 200 that passed there were much less than a 100 people.
'So testing on their ability to make allies itself is another level of clearing the regulars.'
He looked at both of his teammates and realized he still didn't know their names. How stupid of him. "Erm... So guys, we really haven't made any introductions so... My name is Adrien, What about you guys. Oh oh... and we need a team name don't we?" Adrien grinned stupidly. "So-So... What do you guys think of the name team Knight?'

2.) The Shinsoo Resistance Test (+2 Credits Reward)
15 minutes had passed since they were teleported, and most Regulars were busy talking to each other. Most were too busy too notice a dark green figure walking slowly from one corner of the courtyard in direction to the stage. "Bum brum bah Bum brum bah." A deep sound was getting louder as this figure got closer. "Bum brum bah!" The low-pitched beat had now catch the attention of most Regulars, and the green figure was close enough for a visual inspection from them. He had a dark green skin, and a short but beefy reptilian tail. He walked barefooted. He had no shirt on, and used black shorts with an exit on his behind for his obvious tail. "Bum brum bah!" The beat was haunting, and many Regulars got distracted before they noticed his bushy beard, and red eyes. He was almost bold, except for a lock of green hair. The sound stopped when he reached the 'stage' and turned around to face everyone.
"Greetings Regulars!" His long red forked reptilian tongue came out for a second. "I'm the Test Administrator Sonido." He waited for a few seconds, then said. - "That's right, I am a Ranker, and my duty here is to test you. I am a new Test Administrator here, and some of my colleagues say I am way too involved some times. So I apologize if I make you feel uncomfortable in advance." He looked around, trying to familiarize himself with their faces. "Did you have some rest? Before we move on to the second test spot, you must pass a pre-test. If any of you fail to pass, your entire team will be disqualified and sent back to the Outer Tower." Again, he was silent for a few seconds just to follow them with a "That's right." Then, he moved his arms into a meditating position. Before anyone could anticipate something, he snapped his fingers. This created a loud noise followed by a wave of Shinsoo that pushed all Regulars against a corner of the courtyard. He resumed his speech by saying.- "You sure know what Shinsoo is. When concentrated, Shinsoo can impede movement. Come to this side of the Shinsoo barrier and you will be qualified for the second test." Sonido sat down, and waited patiently.

Resha daVal, Team: ?
Resha was paying attention to the ranker when a powerful blast of shinsoo blown her away. She was now all over the other side of the courtyard trying to get back together. She was breathing heavily. 'The shinsoo wave was the same as the shinsoo on floor 99. I should not have been so affected by it, but it seems I got used to the lower density of shinsoo on this floor. I am so pathetic!' She looked around and saw almost all regulars suffered the same fate as her and some had it even worse. 'Well at least I am doing better than others. Now I need to make sure my team mates and I pass that barrier.'
