Ilya was sitting when the ranker came out, he sure took his sweet time. With a snap of his fingers, Ilya and the rest of the regulars were pushed back by a blast of shinsoo. She tumbled on the floor, but with a quick shot of shinsoo, she stopped herself and popped up on her feet. Looking around, most of the regulars were on the floor, most seem to only have minor bruising and get up quickly. Both Resha and Alex seem fine, in fact, they are both much closer to the shinsoo barrier then Ilya. It was dense enough to push everyone back, this seems more like a test than a pretest. This is not going to be easy.

Ahhhh~ The wonderful feel of feathers, the nice, soft touch, the silky way they seemed to brush against your skin, causing you to drift away. Drift far away off into sleep. That was, at least, until one found a pointy blade at ones neck. Feathery pillow was not happy, and apparently not happy with him. His eyes opened, staring at feathery pillow as he calmly raised his hand to the sword, before pushing it away. A twinge of annoyance on his features as he stood up.

"Tell me, Feathery Pillow. What kind of teammate points his blade to the other's throat? What kind of man attacks an unarmed bystander? You my friend need a lesson in manners, and even more in gratitude. If it wasn't for landing on you after all, you would of failed, along with the 140 or so regulars who it seems didn't make it."

He said with a sigh in a rather matter of fact manner. "Now then..." He said as he pulled out his shield, floating it length ways in the air before crawling inside of it. "If you will excuse me.. I am going to take a nap. Wake me for the next test, teammates!" And with that... He was gone.

Resha daVal, Team: ?

People were getting back together and some braver regulars were heading towards the barrier, but Resha was paying attention to the bird guy, who seemed to be in an argument with his team mate, the sleeping person. 'How can he sleep after that shinsoo wave? He's not normal that is for sure. He must be used to this kind of shinsoo density so he must be strong.' After her inner monologue she decided to head for the barrier too, but first she looked around for her team mates. She spotted Ilya not far away from her and went to her. "Are you alright miss Ilya? We should find mr Alex and head for the barrier."

Adrien : Team Knight(Yet to be refuted)

The Owl man hadn't said anything and the newcomer simply took out a pillow and got into his armor to fall asleep. Neither of them introduced themselves 'OR' said anything about his amazing team name.

'Why must my teamates be the anti-social ones' Adrien rolled his eyes and was about to contemplate forfeit before he heard the rising noise. Looking in that direction he saw their next test administrator walking towards them. He wasn't human, and by the looks of his skin Adrien realized the ranker was somewhat reptilian.

He walked up to them and went on about the usual, I'm your next administrator yada yada yada. And ended by saying something surprising. Before the next test they had to pass a small pre test, before he could ask what it was the ranker snapped his fingers and a huge wave of shinsoo was released knocking back all the regulars to one end of the room.

The ranker smiled and said, "All you have to do... Is simply cross the shinsoo barrier and understand that all members of your team must pass this else you are disqualified. Adrien groaned, with one teammate asleep and another not saying anything it was time to put on some blind faith in them and focus on passing himself.

Adrien took his time and walked up to the barrier. Since the ranker didn't say anything about time, Adrien guessed it would go on until the regulars gave up. Adrien slowly brought his hands up and felt around the barrier. Well in truth Adrien realized that this wasn't a real barrier but simply a small area of high density shinsoo. He smiled, 'This would be good, later up the tower this kind of density would be normal'

Applying physical force would be stupid, the easiest way to get through was to have an abnormally high shinsoo resistance which was only common to irregulars. Something Adrien didn't really have much of.

'I guess the only way through is force then.' Adrien pressed the palm of his hand on his chest and began to concentrate. One way of getting through was to embody his own body in an equally dense amount of shinsoo that allowed him to go through without being crushed. Though this was nowhere near easy. The shinsoo density was so high that it took all Adrien's energy to cover himself up with a suitable amount of shinsoo.

'I hope i put in enough else I'd just become roadkill under that pressure.'

Taking a deep breath Adrien closed his eyes and pushed forward into the barrier. Since the density was more or less the same he was able to put his hands through with more or less no resistance, except with the subtle force on his hands there was almost no pressure. Adrien took one more deep breath, closed his eyes and just ran through.

Since it didn't look like his body was crushed he guessed that he did alright. Though his body was extremely weak. He went to a corner and sat down. Apparently he was the first to pass and Adrien was pleased with that. The ranker game him a quick smile before looking back at the other regulars slowly making there way towards the barrier.

'All that's left is to hope my teammates get through.'

Ilyana Stridenger (No team name)


The regulars were picking themselves up, some went to the barrier, while others gathered their teammates. Resha spoke and appeared right in front of Ilya. Startled, Ilya flinched. "If I take my eyes off of you, you really disappear," Ilya said, "I'm fine, thanks." Did she just call me 'miss'? Ilya notices. "It feels weird hearing you call me 'miss,' we are teammates now, so just call me Ilya. Okay, Resha?" Ilya said with a smile, "I'm going to check the chinsoo barrier."

Ilya walks up to the shinsoo and rests a hand on it. It is less of a wall, and more a thick swampy water wall. She pushes her hand into the barrier. The shinsoo is heavy and feels like a large wad of wet gum. Ilya pulls her hand back out, it took most of her strength just to do that. A few regulars had already passed through the shinsoo, including one of the people from the dust cloud. "There must be an easier way than this," she says aloud, "something with shinsoo might work." Ilya flows some shinsoo into the barrier, but it just bounces off harmlessly. Maybe with a little more force.  Ilya flows her shinsoo around her hand, into a gauntlet with a spear tip and thrusts her hand into the barrier.

Resha daVal, Team: ?

Resha looked at how Ilya was making her way through the shinsoo barrier. 'Incredible! She has an amazing control for a starter. I can't imagine how good she will be further up the tower. Alex seems to do his own thing but surely he will pass. Probably. I hope so.' She looked at the only person who passed until now. ' He seems familiar. Where have I seen him before?....No, I can't remember. He is so uninteresting.' She moved her attention towards the barrier and she poked it with her finger. 'Jelly? So I was right the barrier is made out of high density shinsoo. My luck must be cursed.' Resha prepared herself and forced her way through the barrier. After she passed it she fell on her knees, breathing deeply. 'My lungs! It hurts so much. It almost like that time.' She stayed on the ground a few good minutes.

Aizo Zaafi : Team Knight (Yet to care enough to refute)

Aizo growled at the sleeping form of his supposed 'teammate.' Goddammit, why was he always stuck with the assholes? Was it simply too much to ask for a personal space bubble?! And who the heck thought it would be a great idea to make a gigantic, imposing shinsoo wall to test the regulars? Was everyone climbing the tower out of their minds?!

And yet, while Aizo was grumbling to himself about his misfortune and fate, he didn't notice the first small human he met easily slip through the shinsoo barrier and reach the other side. It took him wondering why there was suddenly less people in his immediate vicinity to search for him.

His large unnatural eyes narrowed at the somewhat familiar silhouette behind the wall in dislike before flicking back to the skinny sleeper. Wasn't this supposed to be a team activity type thing? If one didn't make it, none of them did. Aizo's estimation of his 'teammates' dropped by the second. If they wouldn't do something, he would.

Sighing, Aizo leaned down, crouching next to the arrogant one. He hesitated, one feathery finger held out in a questionable point. Should he? He didn't know this one, there might be something dangerous about him. He could be risking serious harm with this, if he even dared. Did he even want to get involved with him so early in the game? Shouldn't he trust his teammate to know what's up?

No. No he didn't trust him. He didn't trust him in the slightest.

Aizo's face twisted into a menacing grin, and he crooked his finger, a dirty looking claw now in prime position, and dug it straight into Viorah's ear.

Viorah Silpaeja Team Name: Knight (Should be the Sleepers)

It was such a nice little nap, he could hear songbirds in his sleep, the scent of fresh rain, and the warm morning breeze gently wafting over him. It was calm, sweet, nice. There was a gentle warmth in his ear, lightly scratching it from somewhere he didn't know.

OH MY FUCKING GOD WHYYYYY!!!!

He screamed as he jumped up, a blast of shinshoo separating the two as he brought his hand up to his ear, blood dripping down it as he yelled out numerous curses before turning his eyes to the owl man, a furious glare directed at him. "What the hell is wrong with you! Some teammate you are!" He screamed as he jumped out of his shield, it disappearing behind him as he looked around, before catching sight of their other teammate. "I'm going to the other guy! He was a lot nicer!"

Muttered complaints and curses traveled with him as he walked to the barrier, before giving it an actual inspection. It seemed like a wall set between them, his poked it with his finger, before it clicked what it actually was as he let out an audible "ahhh." He finally started to look around, and his eyes landed on a scary looking person he assumed was a test administrator. "So this is like a test huh?"

His eyes then moved to one of the regulars on the floor who seemed to be having trouble with it, sighing he walked over to her and shook his head. "You're doing it all wrong. Let me show you." He said as he put his hand to the barrier. "Shinshoo moves in waves and currents, on higher floors you have to be able to flow with it." He said his hand started to slip into the barrier. "You can't just brute force your way through, close your eyes and feel the shinshoo, and let your own mix in with it, flow through it and match its currents. Do that and you'll walk through no problem." He said as he started to push himself into it, before appearing on the other side. "You can do this."

Ilyana Stridenger; No team name

Ilya's hand clanked on the barrier, no progress. A man walked up to her and gave her some advice, before slipping through the shinsoo himself. "Feel the shinsoo?" Ilya repeated, watching as the man practically floats through the shinsoo. Ilya placed a hand on the barrier, and tried to feel the shinsoo. The shinsoo almost felt like it was sucking her hand in. Closing her eyes and holding her breath, almost like she was going underwater, Ilya lets the shinsoo lead her. Before she realizes it, she is on the other side, and lands flat on her face. She lay there for a second, too embarrassed to even look up. He gave good advice, and landing so ungracefully is embarrassing in front of anyone.

Aiden : Team Knight

Aiden was sure something was about to go horriblly wrong when one of his teammates started screaming curses. Aiden watched wide eyes as the sleepy dude just started walking towards his, pausing only to talk to another regular.

'Now now, dont get the wrong idea Aiden. He's just helping someone out.'

That guy put his hand on the barrier and simply melded into it, easily passing through the barrier with little resistance. Similar to what Aiden had done, but without the whole complicated focus shinsoo on your body thing.

'That guy has some skill.' Aiden smirked, 'Good thing he's on my team.'

After the guy passed through Aiden's team was close to victory. All they needed now was the Owl dude to get through and then this little pretest would be passed. Aiden didn't want to risk another chance at getting to know his teammate so he ran over to the other dude, "Hey there, My names Aiden, What's yours?"

She heard the sleeping man's advice. 'Feel the shinsoo? This might work for someone else, but even if I have a decent shinsoo control my body can't really take it.' While thinking about this she put a hand around her neck where her tattoo lay, as if she was trying to reassure herself everything is ok. She heard a noise and saw Ilya next to her face down on the floor. "Miss Ilya are you alright?" 'Well she looks unharmed. Maybe she just tripped. She passed the test, now we only have to wait for Alex.' Resha looked at the sleeping man wanting to thank him for helping Ilya when she saw blood running from his ear. "Mr...., your ear is bleeding are you alright? Do you need help? " She was totally ignoring the other person who was running towards them.

Ilya wanted to remain laying, but Resha showed some concern, so she sat up. "I'm fine, don't worry," Ilya responded. This felt like a common happenstance. Ilya looked at the man who helped her, his ears were bleeding.

"What happened to your ear?" Ilya asked, hopping on her feet. She doubted he could hear too well so she pointed to her own ear as she spoke. "I can help if you, I used to help some nurses back in my village. I can use my shinsoo to perform minor first aid." Ilya forms a baang and flows it to her ear, hoping he can either hear her or gets her meaning through her actions. "Surly I can do something to help."

Viorah Silpaeja Team Name: Knight (Should be the Sleepers)

Viorah batted his eyes a few times as he stared at Ilya, sprawled across the ground. "Well.." He said as he ran his fingers through his hair, "I suppose that was one way to do it." He said as he gave out a good nature laugh before offering her his hand to help her up. At the same time his eyes shot a cold, piercing glare towards the "Owl man". Bastard.. He thought as he started to stretch.

It wasn't until someone mentioned it that he realized his ears where still bleeding. His hearing hadn't been impacted terribly, as the cut hadn't pierced his ear drum. "My teammate over there thought it would be the best way to wake me up." A hint of anger washed over him as the care free and lazy side of him started to give way to the fighter. "But oh well. What can we do?" He said before looking to Ilya with a forced smile. "I would appreciate the healing." He said as he sat down to let her work her... baang.

His eyes traveled up to his other teammate as he extended his hand. "Viorah. Pleasure to meet you." He said before tossing a glare back over to the owl man and shouting. "SEE! THIS IS HOW TEAMMATES BEHAVE AROUND ONE ANOTHER!" Shaking his head he looked up to Aiden. "Really. The nerve of some people."

Ilyana Stridenger; no team name

"I should say that running shinsoo through a person is dangerous, but if the wound isn't even to your eardrum it shouldn't be a problem," Ilya said to the man. She sat on her knees and told him to sit in front of her. "You said your name is Viorah? I'm Ilya, pleased to make your acquaintance.  This should sting, so try not to move." She created a baang full of shinsoo with heal properties and cuffed her hand an inch over Viorah's ear and flowed shinsoo inside. The injury was shallow and seemed to have already stopped bleeding. Clearing blood clots and fixing the skin is simple enough and after a few seconds, Ilya is done. She flowed her shinsoo out and released it harmlessly.

[Sonido]

Sonido contemplated the scene in front of him with little changes in his facial expressions. However, it wasn't hard to see that he was a bit surprised to see that some regulars from different teams were helping each other. Only a very sharp one would understood what Sonido was thinking. Nor helping nor letting others help me, is how climbing The Tower used to be. A few minutes went by, before he opened his mouth. His reptilian tongue came out once again, which caught the attention of a couple of Regulars who were paying attention. "It is impressive". He said as the last one of the Regulars overpassed the Shinsoo. "At the end, all of you have passed the test. Some of you, against all odds". He moved closer to everyone. "The next test will be interesting for you guys. I won't be there to guide you, unfortunately. Just follow the Instructions from the assistants".

All the regulars were sent to a different area, where two assistants made them wait in line in front of a closed door. "Please wait here patiently, the following test would be taken to each group individually. First group please, go inside."
