Well. Alex stopped short, only a few meters away from a cloud of dust funneling outwards. Maybe he shouldn't touch that—but then again, what did he have to lose? The Torine coughed slightly and inches forwards towards the cloud, then backwards, apparently torn at whether to step in or not. Truthfully, it wouldn't be his best plan if he just jumped into it... Though the way things were going, he wouldn't get any excitement otherwise.

' Well things got interesting.' Resha thought. She saw the young girl chasing the fish-man, the fish-man running to the cloud of dust and a normal uninteresting human watching the scene. ' Wasn't there another man behind that dust screen?' Resha asked herself. ' I am very curious why he chose to run into the cloud.I need to see what happens next, but the dust is clouding my vision.'

What is that fish-man doing, Ilya thinks. Who knows what could be in there, though considering the open field it might not be such a bad idea to get cover. But a dust cloud just seems too unnatural, it must be a trap. Rather than a fruitless chase into the unknown, Ilya chooses to go around the dust cloud. Hopefully no one notices I'm here.

Adrien saw the Merman walk into a dust cloud and the girl stealthily move around it. With both of them out of his vision Adrien was at a loss as to what he should do. He thought for a second and then decided to make a reckless move and follow the Merman into the dust cloud. At least since he was the second person he would get some warning as to what was there.
As Adrien ventured into the dust cloud his vision rapidly deteriorated until he couldn't see anything other than what was directly in front of him. Regardless of the risk it would bring Adrien clutched the pendant in his pocket and gently released some shinsoo out slightly helping him regain his lost vision.

Oh god, was there someone else in here with him? No, there was definitely someone else in there. Maybe more than one. Alex could barely see in the dust—he had bad vision anyways, so he had to rely on his other senses to figure out his situation. Namely, his ears. Not too far from him—in fact, from the exact location he had entered in—was a man. And somewhere else, not too far but still within the dust cloud, was another man. Presumably the one who had obstructed the cloud of dust. He didn't really want to mess with him. Quickly accessing his arms inventory, he pulled out his hook, the base spinning in his hand as he squinted into the murky beige-ness. It really was a bad idea to come in here.
Alex was careful to stay as quiet as possible—the decreased visibility was on his side, since most people would have been able to point him out by now. I mean, who else had fins? But he had to tread lightly if he didn't want to screw up. Now, the question was to attack—or to not attack?

' He entered the cloud? What is he thinking? The dust is really annoying and I want to see what happens. Maybe if I go closer I can see better what is happening.' Resha began to climb down the cliff. At the base she passed by the sniper who was surprisingly alive even after beening hit by a baang of shinsoo and rolling down the cliff. ' He must have a strong body to wistand all that.' Then she saw a big rock near the smoke cloud 'This can be a good spot to see better. It is on higher ground and offers a wide view.'and she went towards it.

Commotion sounds from inside the dust cloud. Something's happening. It sure is boring hiding and doing nothing, so why not just do a little bit. Ilya fires a few weak baangs randomly into the cloud in quick succession. A deep voice yells in pain from inside. Ilya moves around the cloud, careful to make as little sound. There seems to be a clearing of wheat on the opposite side from where fish-man entered. Better not leave cover. then again it won't make sound, those in the cloud should have trouble finding me. Ilya takes a glance around, no one is in sight. Ilya prepares a baang and steps out into the clearing.

Resha heard a yell coming from the cloud and looked towards it. She was surprised to see the girl from not to long ago was attacking the dust cloud. 'I forgot about her!!! She is heading towards the clearing and she seems to be preparing a baang, this means she wants to eliminate the competition. I must go to higher ground and the rock I saw earlier is perfect for this. I really don't want to be in the way of her baang.'

Alex ducks as something bright and familiar fizzes past his head and hits someone else. So she was following him! Irritated and tired and in need of a good bath, the Torine whips his reel out at the source of the baangs... And hits nothing. Well, all that meant was that she had enough brains to get out of the way. He can't really detect her--not like this, not with his senses dulled. Had it been less dusty, maybe he could sniff her out. But breathing all this dust in was not a great idea, especially with lungs as fragile as his.
And so he was stuck. Surrounded. Stepping into the dust cloud hadn't been a good idea before, but now... It was way more unappealing. If he were to take a baang to the head he might die, and that'd be the end of it. He took deep breaths to soothe the panic rising in his throat. He could die here. He could die here.

As Ilya entered the clearing, she was startled by a sound from behind. A hook had landed right where she had been firing into the cloud and cut all the wheat down to the root. Close call. Unfortunately, she instinctively fired her baang. She hadn't regulated the power so it pushed her away, landing on the ground with a thud. The baang hits a cliff, near to where the sniper had been, and causes a landslide. Looking into the cloud, knowing she was heard, she darts out of the way of another attack and gets away. Ilya volleys a few more baangs into the cloud and moves to a new location. This clearing sure is nice when no one is around.

The girl fired a baang that hit the cliff behind Resha. This created a landslide and rocks big and small were heading towards Resha as she began to panic. 'This is bad. I can't climb the rock I saw earlier, it will take to much time , this means I must head for the clearing now.'She quicked her pace and ran into the clearing. There she saw the girl from earlier and the fish-man's hook. ' I must be very careful not to get involved in the fight that is going to start.'

Ilya was running out of steam, the baangs are getting more and more difficult to create. "I knew this would happen," she says, "I should take a break." The hook stopped attacking her a while ago, so Ilya backs off from attacking into the dust cloud. A rock is nearby, providing so cover from the sun. Who knew the area could get so hot, Liboa never got much hotter than 30*f. Finally getting some rest, Ilya's headache returns. Ilya hears a crunch from somewhere, but no one is around. The wheat is too far to be heard if someone was in there, so they must be near, but no one is in the clearing.

Aiden really messed up when he decided to come in here. After a while multiple baangs were shot into the dust cloud and one of the baangs hit Aiden. He didn't want to show that he was hit but the pain was too intense. Aiden yelped and quickly shut his mouth closed and bit back the pain.
The oncoming volley of projectile baangs was really dangerous so Aiden ran towards the side of the dust cloud in hopes of getting out. It worked... but Aiden quickly realized that the area where he was now was close to the hill, and someone apparently caused a landslide. Aiden saw another girl, different from the rest running towards the clearing. Not wanting to stay anywhere near the other participants Aiden ducked and ran back into the cloud... But running wasn't a good idea. The Mermans figure loomed close and all of a sudden Aiden crashed into him. So-o not my day, he thought.

As the last of the echoes from the cube reverberated through the stage, a lone figure stood, his silhouette highlighted against the grain stalks.
"Ugh, who the heck made this godforsaken light,," he grumbled, shading his brow from an enormously bright sun. He squinted, crinkling his nose as he attempted to digest the white mess his eyes were communicating to him.
There was a gulp, spit sticking uncomfortably in his throat. This was not the time to be as good as blind, for goodness sakes. There was a literal battle royale going on, and with his conspicuous height, he didn't doubt that he would be an easy target.
He ducked, the tall head disappearing under the weeds as the figure readjusted his grip on the needle in his hand. He just needed to hide out for a while, cruise by as the others went about leveling the playing field by half. Pretty easy, right?
An arrow whizzed by his head, just narrowly missing a feather on his cheek.
Not easy. I repeat, not easy in the slightest.
He jumped and ran, not even thinking about the direction he was headed, just as long as he got the flip out of the range of that shooter.
At the very least he could make out distinct shapes now, so that was a positive, right? Ah, look, a large, imposingly dark blob. Probably a cliff face? If he managed to circle it and thus block himself from the hunter's view, he would be home free!
And yet, when the figure reached the black mass, he found it was not solid and he had probably just royally screwed himself.
From what he felt and what little he could see, he knew for a fact he was stuck right in the middle of a dust cloud. And from what he could hear, this movable mass of particles was also playing host to a large group of fighters intent on destroying each other and nearly everything else within a ten mile vicinity.

Before the Merman could react Adrien got off him and started running once again, this time remembering to channel shinsoo through his pendant. With the added light he'd be less likely to run into someone. Of course that didn't help when someone ran into him. That someone was... Tall and looked human... Except for the fact that it had feathers all over and his hands were claws.
"Oh crap." Exclaimed Aiden.
