Alex spat curses, clambering to his feet and swinging his hook wildly. It was not funny to just bump into people and run away without saying sorry. Not funny at all. At least the dust was beginning to clear—if only slightly. Still, it was better than nothing. The Torine reluctantly stopped waving his hook around, figuring that if he actually hit someone it'd cause a bit of trouble for him. Instead, he opted to try and find his way out of this mess.

Resha saw the girl laying down next to the rock. ' She must have used a lot of shinsoo in the last attacks. Still is impressive how many baang she can fire consecutively, for a regular that is.' As she was thinking that the girl tensed. ' O no I wasn't paying attention and I made some noise. I hope she didn't pin point my location because if she knows what she is looking for she might notice me and I don't want to be her practice target.' Resha tried to approach the rock as quietly as possible.

The last thing Adrien wanted to do was pick a fight with the owl dude. It still hurt where the baang struck him. Adrien wanted to run away before the owl dude did anything but as he got up to run a heavy arm was placed on his shoulder. Without turning to look Adrien aimed his hand with the pendant back towards the figure. Without waiting for a response he concentrated and fired a shinsoo projectile that hit the owl dude head on. The grip on his shoulder loosened and before he knew it Adrien was vaulting through the fading dust cloud.
After getting out he looked up and saw that the number of participants had been reduced to 250. Just a little while longer he thought.

Just as the bang of Shinsoo hit Aizo, a loud explosion could be heard far away from the cloud. The sound echoed in everyone's ears for 10 seconds, and it was followed by waves of Shinsoo that resembled sea waves. This perturbation of the Shinsoo dissipated the cloud wave after wave. Before anyone could see the Regular count again, the yellow cube made a bell noise followed by the same voice from before.
"Congratulations! You can stop fighting now. If you are listening to my voice, you passed the first part of the first test... That was unexpectedly quick, wasn't it? You will soon be teleported to the location where the second test will take place. However, first you will have to form teams of 3 regulars. Failure to be on a team with 3 members will disqualify you from the next test. Now... you have 5 minutes. You will need to be touching your teammates at the end of the 5 minutes to be considered a team. That's all. Good luck and see you soon!"

' What only five minutes? This means we will probably end up making a team with a person who you were fighting before. So my only choice is to make a team with the girl or someone from the dust cloud.' Resha got closer to the girl and said "Excuse me, would you like to make a team with me?" The girl jumped suddenly and prepared a baang of shinsoo. She was very confused with the fact Resha appeared out of thin air.

Oh crap, this would be awkward. The people closest to Aiden were the owl dude, who he just shot. And the merman he knocked over. Aiden sighed. Keep calm he thought, keep calm and make amends. Aiden took a deep breath and ventured off back in the general direction he just came from. The Owl dude had got up and was dusting himself when Aiden made his appearance.
"Waaaait!" Aiden shouted. He didn't want to get massacred before he could explain himself. "Bro, think carefully. I'm really sorry about what i did earlier. Like really really sorry. We have 5 minutes that you can either spend a few on trying to kill me, and then tough luck on finding another 2 partners. So if you would rather join me, we'd be one step closer with 4 minutes to spare. And i know a guy."
The owl dude just glowered at him while Aiden talked, and after he was done Aiden extended his hand, "So... Peace?" Aiden grinned stupidly.

"Sorry," Ilya said, calming down. The girl literally appeared out of thin air. She safely relesed her baang. "Yeah sure," she responded to the ghost girl, My name's Ilyana, you can call me Ilya." Ilya ran to the dust cloud and yelled. "Hey fish-man, you in there? Want to for a team?"

Resha was now looking at her new team mate.'That was easy enough. But is it really safe for her to want to form a team with the fish-man? Didn't she almost killed him earlier? We don't have much of a choice, but still.' Resha really wanted to know what Ilya though. "Are you certain this is a good idea...." she began asking her.

"Well, he seemed pretty trustworthy earlier," Ilya reasoned. "He didn't kill me when he had the chance to. Besides, he's the only person in the area I know of, and we are kind of limited on time." The dust cloud was starting to settle. What ever happened in there would be told in a matter of moments.

"Okay, if you say so..." said Resha with a quiet voice. ' I know this is the only option I have, but I still wish Ilya is right because I really don't want to die yet.' though Resha as she was waiting for the cloud to desappear. All will be settled after this. Now she could see four figures outlined in the dust. She got closer to the small girl.

Four men stood where there once was a cloud of dust. The fish-man, a large owl, and 2 humans. Confused by just how many people can think entering a cloud of dust is a good idea, Ilya notices ghost-girl suddenly standing next to her. "Men," Ilya says under her breath. She whispers to ghost-girl, "it would be best to hide your invisibility to non- teammates." Ilya raises her voice so everyone can hear her, "We seem to have enough people for two teams." Fish-man's the closest to Ilya, and she feels a reasonable amount of trust towards him. "Fish-man, we know each other, care to join our team?" Ilya gestures to the ghost-girl. And wears her best smile.

"Okey, I will try." ' It is a good idea to hide your abilitys from your possible enemies. It seems I chose a smart person to be my team mate.' Resha thought while a small smile made its way on her face. Being invisible comes as a natural thing for her so even herself forgets about it, but being seen is a little bit trickier. She focused on making noise when walking and making unnecessary moments that attract attention.

The tall figure blinked a few times with the result of the explosion. His mind was fried with fear, his eyes huge in his visage.
'Who... who did that?' he thought, his eyes flicking in minute motions from shape to blurry shape. He barely even registered the speech that was delivered to him. Something about a fish and teaming up? Nevertheless, he had heard the announcement, and he knew what needed to be done, regardless of stupid human idiocy. There was something... dangerous over there, and he had no desire to face it alone.
Soon, his mind clicked back into place, and his head swung down to glare at the small human, his unnatural eyes squinting at the puny form. He tried to distinguish a detail, any detail of what he knew would have to be his teammate if he wanted to go on.
"I... yes?" He rumbled, his voice smooth as he once again flicked his gaze into the distance, to the same area the shock waves of shinsoo originated.
Quietly, he murmured, "Don't touch me again," taking the time to swing his needle in the humans general direction, his expression one of distrust and anger, even though he wasn't looking at him any longer. He could still feel his side throb from the blast.

"Woah easy there", Aiden exclaimed, as he jumped back barely avoiding the needle. "As I was saying, why not put this behind us? I sincerely apologize for my rashness earlier but attacking me now would do neither of us any good."
Aiden hesitated a moment waiting for some indication that his opponent agreed. "So..." Aiden extended his hand again, "We a team then?"

".. Fish... Man?" Alex glowered at the nickname, but let it slide. "... Sure, whatever. But don't call me fish-man. I'm not even a fish. My name is Alex." He brushed his hair back casually, putting his hook away. That was settled fairly quickly, then. At least this meant he didn't have to go searching for others—as a Torine, his mobility was generally unrestricted. But it still would take a bit of effort to get around within thw time restrainment. And that wasn't a risk that he wanted to take anyways.
