Resha listened carefully to the Ranker, analyzing every word he spoke.
 '<Each group> he said, that means we have to find Alex and we need to hurry.'
She looked around searching through the small group of regulars trying to spot the fishman, but it was in vain she couldn't see him anywhere. Then she closed her eyes and began thinking on what they could do.
 'A group, but he didn't mention it must be the original group maybe there is a way out of this mess.'
She was so caught in her thoughts that she didn't notice that the creepy smile on kid's face, the one who she saw earlier, was gone as he was surprised that she disappeared from his field of vision when he was sure she was right there, in front of him. Soon a sinister smile bloomed on his face, he knew something that could be useful later on.

Aiden : Team Knight

'Phew, things are going good. Everyone passed the test and now we're a step closer getting to the next floor.'

Aiden glanced around and found his teammates. Viorah and the Owl dude had bad blood between them ever since the... ear incident. The owl dude still hadn't introduced himself and Aiden was getting tired of asking him. 'Might as well spend my energy on something more useful.'

The ranker had told the regulars that the next test would be happen on a group basis, since Aiden was the first to pass naturally it was their group going in first. The two assistants simply stood by the door and it was nerve racking to try and figure out what was in store for them. 'Well they did call us first, i better stop fidgeting and get my team in there.'

Aiden took a deep breath, turned around and called out to his teammates,"Hey guys we better go in soon, they did call us already you know." Aiden glanced at both of them one more time before turning back and confidently walking towards the door. One of the assistants opened the door as he walked close, and he entered the room. The beginning of their next test.

Ilyana Stridenger, no team name

The ranker just called groups, luckily Alex passed through the barrier and made his way over. "From the looks of things, we are fifth team to enter," Ilya said. Viorah's group is the first to enter. A few minutes pass until the door opens again and the next team enters. "Hey guys, do you think we should come up with a team name?" She asks her team trying to pass the time. "Maybe something like team Cool Crew or Great Gang." Ilya lets out a giggle by the corny names she came up with; despite constant life threatening danger, some time must be used for fun. "A name that correlates to something about us would be best, but what?"

Ilya notices a girl around her age in the team ahead of her. She has golden blonde hair that falls half way down her back, and only then does Ilya notice two, almost invisible small yellowish wings poking out of her back. The girl turns around, noticing Ilya's interest in her. "I'm Arianna," she says giving a short bow.

"My name's Ilya," Ilya responds quickly, "nice to meet you." A tall, red-skinned man in Arianna's group glares at Ilya and she steps back. "I should get to my group," Ilya said, waving goodbye. The red-skinned man is holding a hook, and next to him is a slightly shorter, but much fatter, man wearing glasses.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Several bloodcurdling screams sound from the behind door. Everyone is too startled to even talk and just look at the door A minute passes, and the door opens once more, the administrators motion and a new team hesitantly enters. Almost ten minutes pass and more screams resound through the hall. The door opens for Arianna's team. Arianna refuses to enter; however, when her team is threatened by expulsion, she is carried in by the red-skinned man.

Ilya stands right in front of the door, her team is next in line to enter the door. Just under five minutes pass and the door opens. No scream this time. Confidently, Ilya strides into the dark room. The door closes behind her, leaving them in total darkness.

Resha didn't pay attention to the fact Alex was OK and he joined them. She didn't see Ilya's interaction with the strange girl and man. She was snapped out of her day dreaming by a loud scream.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
She looked at the door.
' The team that entered survived only for five minutes. What is the test. I hope is not another fighting.'
She looked at her team mates, they were heading towards the door. She really needed to pay more attention. Ilya was right in front of the door so Resha ran to her. She didn't even know her power was showing and usually normal people could see her. She was really bad at paying attention and this could get her in trouble.

3.) The Door Test (+2 Credits Reward)

Once a group walked inside the room, it was devoured by the darkness of it. However, it didn't take long to spot a bright area in the apparent center of the room. There was a small figure dressed in blue and yellow gown. He was siting in there drinking coffee. One would wonder if this person drinks a cup per group that takes the test, but there isn't much more time to wonder about anything else, as he begins to speak.

"Welcome Regulars. I am Yu Han Sung, the Test Director on the second floor. I'll be testing you this time, since I want to get to know you all. So here is the test". He said, as a red light illuminated all 12 doors behind him, on the opposite side of the room to where the entrance is. "There are 12 doors, of which you have to find the 'true door' and open it. And don't make the others wait for too long. All hints have been given to you". He finished his speech, and resumed his activities, namely drinking coffee.

-> Open the door that will take you to the exit. As a team, you can only open 1 door. Don't try to open another one after a teammate already did. Post at least once (minimum of 5 sentences)

Aiden : Team Knight

He was blinded by the sudden difference in contrast between the rooms. While the waiting area was bright and visibly huge the testing area was pitch black save for a small bright spot in the room center. There was a figure there causally sipping tea.

'That must be the test administrator' Aiden guessed

She introduced herself as Yu Han Sung and went on to explain the rules of this 'Door' test. As she talked red lights behind her began to flicker as 12 doors came into sight, 'We've got to pick one of the eh' Aiden waited till she explained how were they to pick a door but she simply said,

"All hints have been give."

"But... But what hints?" Aiden blurted out.

He was met with a chilling glance by the administrator who ignored him and went back to sipping tea. Aiden glances back at his teammates, "So... We better think of something fast guys."

Ilyana Stridenger; no team name

The room was lit in a dim light. All around the room were doors and at its center was a man. As Yu Han Sung mentioned the rules for the test, Ilya looked around the room. Twelve doors lined the wall.

'We need to pick the right door from all of these?' Ilya noted in bewilderment. What hints was she given again? Find the correct door and don't make others wait. So we can't take too much time, but if we rush we'll miss something and probably pick the wrong door.

"All hints have been given," Ilya repeats, wondering what it could mean, "and why is more emphasis on time?"

Resha followed Ilya inside. She was realy surprised when she heard the instructions and the fact that there are no more hints.
'No MORE hints? Then this means that they have already been provided. From what he said I can no longer distinguish another hint, so they were provided before entering. The team in front of us gave no indication of something happening but the team before them probably failed if the scream I heard was some indication. Scream? That was not even five minutes after they entered? So early but we have no time limit? Or maybe not? Five minutes? Why do I feel it's important?'
Reasha was having a internal debate. Meanwhile Alex was coming dangerously close to one of the existing doors. Unfortunately Resha was too absorbed in her thoughts trying to understand the rules so she didn't see him.

Ilyana Stridenger; no team name

Ilya watched as Alex approached a door. "What're you doing?" she asked curiously, catching up to him.

"Getting a feel for a door," he said, "and you?"

"I think we should open one. The test admin said not to make others wait, and if we have only a one in twelve chance we should just get it over with."

"We'll probably die if we get the wrong one, you heard the screams, right?"

"To the top or bust."

Alex just shrugged and pointed to a door. "This one seem good?"

"Yeah." Alex touched the door handles, but Ilya stops him, "Hold on, we should call Resha over." Turning around, Ilya noticed Resha was nowhere to be found. "Rehsa," she called, "we're opening the door over here."

Aiden : Team Knight

With little response from his teammates Aiden looked at the clock in a corner and began to panic, time was ticking by and this was their only way onwards.  The rush of adrenaline made Aidens mind go into overdrive and he began to try and figure out what they had to do,

'He said that all hints have been given but he hasn't directly mentioned any of them. This means that they already given us the hints through some other subtle manner. Think! Think! what have i noticed so far. The screams were the most obvious thing. My team was the first to enter so the screams had to be a hint. And it was after the 5 minute mark. What else..."

With a rush Aiden looked up back at the clock, 'Why the hell is there a clock. We do have pockets that let us check the time. It has to be another clue.... a clock, 12 hands, 12 doors? Could that be it? No... that was far too simple what else...'

Aiden took a deep breathe and calmed himself, 'Keep it simple... what's the first thing that you notice when you see a clock... THE TIME!'

The gears clicked and everything fell into place. 5 minutes, the time, the scream those were the only clues and that would mean there wasn't any criteria for picking a door at all. You simply had to pick on within the time limit.

Aiden grinned and ran forward hoping he wasn't going to kill himself and his team on a stupid whim. He went to the closest door, gulped down any second thoughts and opened the door.

Resha heard Ilya calling her name so she went next to her. She was still thinking about the Ranker's words. Suddenly she realized something and said:

"Mr. Alex if you want to open that door you better hurry up. The five minutes are almost over and I don't want to fail yet."

She didn't realized her sudden appearance started them. She looked at Alex, who's hand was on the door knob. Her eyes were saying he'd better open the door fast or else something bad is going to happen to him. Still surprised by the fact she appeared out of nowhere Alex opened the door.

2nd Floor Test Director, Yu Han Sung

Only 24 regulars remained alive after the monstrous incident. Most of the survivors were the lucky ones who passed the test and where teleported to a different area. Only 4 of the ones who had yet to take the test survived. However, they looked traumatized. 7 unlucky who had passed the door test where caught by it too. Yu Han Sung, was still really busy supervising the restoration of the facilities, but he took 10 minutes to talk to the 24 regulars.

"What you have witnessed, those of you who had that dreadful luck, has never happened before... Kinda'" Yu Han Sung made an awkward face, as he recalls some odd memory. "Please do not comment this to anybody. Those of you who lost a team member or two, You probably where the luckiest ones. As the attack only damaged the residential building last 3 floors. Your teammates where probably at the restaurant on the last floor, the roof. I am very sorry." He looked around to find those sad faces showing they had lost a friend. Then, he began naming them in groups of 3. "... and you, BrehQuer. Lastly, the final team... Who's left then?" He said faking ignorance, as the last 3 stood up away from the others and in front of him. "Oh!... Aiden, Resha, and You, Ilyana" He looked at them curiously. "Now, The next test... will be... delayed for just a little bit, OK? You will be sent to a different building, where you should try to meet your new teammates and there will be a training area designed for Regulars... Just don't break anything. After that my test admins will find you and train you for the next test. They should be there in a couple of days as they are helping me right now... And don't worry. You will be safe"

He left and the 8 teams were sent to a 9 story building. The first floor had only the lobby and elevators. The second floor was the training area. It was a wide room  with all kind of obstacles, wooden weapons and training outfit. The third floor had a cafeteria and a balcony with many tables for Regulars to sit around. The other floors had rooms and restrooms for the 8 teams. 4 rooms where locked, 8 opened (3 bed per room, a Tv, showers and some furniture). On the roof there was a pool and chairs for sunbathing (Some umbrellas too).

All happened so fast and Resha didn't know what to think. Not long ago Alex insisted to see the restaurant by himself and after that the sound of a explosion was heard. Next the Ranker appeared and announced us that our team mate died.

'That was fast. I was sure he had potential but it seems that The Tower is an ugly place. Like the Ranker said the unlucky die and the lucky live. Well I am a little happy that Ilya is okay. She is nice and from what I've seen she will help someone even though we are in a place where people "feed" on people. I only hope that the next team mate won't die as fast and we will survive another day in this place.'

After she finishes consoling her that this is the rule of the tower. She went next to Ilya and put her hand on her shoulder.

"Are you alright miss Ilya?"

Aiden : Team Knight - Now The Only Surviving Member

'What the hell is going on.'

Aiden shivered as his mind began to recollect the events of the last few hours, 'Things were going so well... We passed the test and got through but then... "THAT" happend."

Aiden blankly watched as the ranker Yu Han Sung explained the situation and what had exactly happened. After he was done Aiden was moved to a more residential area of the floor and given a basic layout of where everything was.

'I damn well knew that climbing the tower wasn't going to be easy... but i didn't think things would go wrong so fast."

Aiden sighed and lied down on his bed looking up at the ceiling. 'Things were only going to get harder, i should prepare my self...'

Closing his eyes Aiden started to mentally prepare himself for what lied ahead, he knew that there was no going back and the only way was forward. Aiden slowly opened his eyes and sighed once more, was it of relief or grief one couldn't say.

"Life goes on..." Aiden said out loud.

Ilyana Stridenger; no team name

'I'm the one who told him about the restaurant.' That thought occupied her mind so much that she couldn't do much else, not even cry. Even though she knew what could happen in the tower, she wasn't ready for this. He was the first person she met in the tower, the first person since she left her home. She dind't hear the ranker about her new team, or Resha's consoling, only able move the way others led her. The day past and Ilya didn't talk, she just went to sleep.

She woke up to the yells of many people. Looking outside her window, Ilya noticed the townspeople of her hometown, Liboa, rioting in the streets. Something dropped past her window and made a thump on the ground. She didn't need to look, because she already knew what it was. Several people broke down her door and entered, all of their faces looked monstrous. Tears swelled up in her eyes, as one of the monsters walked toward her, reading a pitchfork. Before he hit, she jolted up, awake.

Ilya's breath was staggered, the room was dark, and nobody was outside. "It was just a dream," she told herself, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't go back to sleep. She got up and dressed, hoping a walk would calm her nerves.
