This is a simple poll. I want to know how you feel more comfortable, or what way you think it's more exiting.
Remember you can vote twice, in case you like more than one option.
If you have any question about the options, by all means go ahead and ask.
Thanks for your time!

Rather than have a shop listing all the items one could buy, I would rather see an item requisition form. For instance, if I wanted a lighthouse that allowed for full control of 8 lights along with a stealth feature, you would tell me what floor the item will be available, and my character would write posts to acquire said item. This way, players can get unique items that fit their playstyle, and gives some incentive to stick with it and reach higher floors.
If you plan on events to give away special items, you could even ask the players themselves what kind of item they want. Saves you work, and the player is happy.
As for weapon grades, I don't see the point.

I agree with cervance to an extent,
While i don't see much reason in weapon grading, well simply because in a fight skill trumps weapon classes unless its an S grade/Ignition or so.
In the regard to getting items i think you should both reward the best RP'ers every floor but also have a separate shop like listing(Which i see you've made) to get any other basic item. I don' think an item registration form would work out well because you might make decision on the spot and there wont be much consistency in the long run and if you did need items with such specifications you'd probably get them as rewards for clearing a floor rather than being able to downright buy them.

We could grade them with letter only, and ignore the numbers to make it easier. [SS+, S+, S, A, B, C, D, E, F]
I could reward a different item on every floor. i.e. F-Rank items on every floor up to floor 19th. Floor 20th could have a special 3 weapon reward, so 3 players can compete for 3 E-Rank weapons.
Let me make a quick example:
3rd: F-Rank Long spear 4th: F-Rank Katana 5th: F-Rank Scythe . . . 10th: F-Rank Katar [Ignites to E-Rank: Description of its power] 11th: F-Rank Crossbow 12th: F-Rank Spiked Flail 13th: F-Rank Shield . . . 19th: F-Rank Long Axe 20th: E-Rank Khopesh + E-Rank Staff + E-Rank Sword-Breaker 21st: E-Rank Tomahawk . . .
Etc.
What do you think?

I disagree with the one wep per floor because... what if noone cares about getting a spiked flail as a reward?
I think the only items that matter are ones with special powers, and it makes the most sense that the players design the special items they'd like to use. It would then fall to the Forum Admins to decide the exact power of the item, and how the players get it: as a reward for a floor, as loot from a tough enemy, as gift for helping someone in need, etc. We could also decide on a limit of how many special items you can carry, and if you want a new one, you'll have to drop off an old one, perhaps to another Regular climbing the tower behind you.
As for basic items, just let people have them. If someone wants to climb the tower with sword and shield, let them, as long as they work in a few posts about how they acquired the new basic items.
Players who are interested in particularly powerful items like Androssi's OP AF teleporting Bon-Bon will have to commit to the site to get to the floors where they are available.

I think it would be best if we used only the letters and not the numbers, with regards to the weapon per floor i kinda think that instead of giving out typical weapons every round, you give them the credits that they can use to buy basic weapons but every few rounds or so we can have a special event to give out an unusual item, maybe a lower level ignition weapon or a talisman to block shinsoo etc...

I don't like the idea of players submitting what weapon they want, that is not only too much unnecessary work for both the staff and regulars and it's too personalized. In every role play game there are weapons that you fight to get, not wish to get. If there is a weapon awarded in a floor that nobody likes, well... That's how it is. Someone will get it and it could be useful later on. You don't know what awaits in the next floor...
Mr.M, I did create the store system, but it's also very hard to manipulate. There aren't as many weapons as we have seen in the tower. If you consider only the weapons on the 2nd floor, there are probably twice as many different weapons than what I've considered. So to be fair, the shop would have to have a really long list of weapons. Which I can make, but I would not put a price on each of them. They would have to have the same price as long as they are the same rank. What do you think?
P.S: Let's ignore numbers then. SIU does (so far) Even tho, it is necessary because of the amount of weapons that there are. That's why there aren't numbers on the S+ and SS+ categories. People say it's because there are not many of those weapons. (It seems not even 5 in total...)

Hmm, i think that a good idea K, Cos if people were to start submitting custom weapon ideas it would be a whole new level of work for the staff so i guess we could give one price for say all weapons of rank F and go on like that, but for now i suggest keeping this at least till B ranked, because A, S and SS ranked weapons should be given on some other basis.

You are right. B,C,D,E,F rank weapons are good for sale, and A,S,S+,SS+ and any ignite weapon for certain floor tests, and events. I want to see people making an effort to get a C-Rank Bow that will ignite to S-Rank and fire shinsoo instead of arrows... <3

Lol true that, much better than starting a mini war during the test early on, if they can put the effort in.

Someone will get it and it could be useful later on. You don't know what awaits in the next floor... I'm disappointed you think of it as extra work, when the opposite is true! Players will see it as a chance for more creativity and customization for their characters, and the Moderator's only job is to make sure its balanced. Someone has to create interesting items anyway, since its so core to Tower of God. If the players have no say, then it still all falls to the Moderators. And if the Moderators fail to make items the players want, then the players might be less motivated to come and post on the forum. As for 'wishing' to get items, that is also not true. Once an item is approved as balanced and the floor of the item is decided, the player will have to RP against whatever challenge the Moderator wants in order to get their item. I expect these will be the highest quality posts on the forums, since players will be excited and motivated to get the item they created. Now, if you don't like that players can get items that they personally create, then instead we could have a "Create Your Own Items" form, where the items, once balanced, are distributed to the Tower for anyone to get, not just the creator. I might actually prefer this myself, since then players will interact with other groups in order to get the items they want. At any rate, if you want something more concrete, I can create a form and some examples so you can get an idea of how it can work.

The tower of god role play is very linear, but there is a lot of randomness on what floor you can get something too.
Let's say Player A wants a Bow that can shoot 3 arrows at a time. A-player is in Floor#2. Where do I put his bow? 3rdF? 5thF? 78thF? They will all get to any floor as long as they continue RPing... So why don't I just put different weapons in random floors, so everyone knows what's the next floor's weapon or maybe I don't tell them.
You pointed out what if there is a weapon nobody wants, it's the same minus one on the other system. Because Player-A will get his weapon on the 6thFloor, but nobody else will care for it. Unless they want the exact same weapon, and they steal it. Then Player A won't get it and I'll have to reward the same weapon twice? in the same floor or in the next? Nope... That's why I say it's too much work. Even If they don't design their weapon, they'll have to role play. Think about it. Regulars have lots of weapons, the more they go up the tower. Can you imagine having 9 people role playing, and everyone sending 3-5 weapons. Also... What do I reward the floors where there are no weapons requested. I like the idea of people creating their own weapons, I like creativity. But it doesn't go well with this specific role play. Not in that way at least.
I would love to read other peoples opinions too, don't be shy.

P.S: So far, I think the best option is a combination of everything.
Reward credits on every test, and also some weapons on some floors. Then you can buy some weapons and items with your credit, and get special weapons on a few floors. Maybe 3 players want the same weapon, but only 1 will get it. It makes it more special. If nobody really likes it, we could give it a price and give him.her credits for it.
