First of all, in order to participate on the Role Play, everybody must follow this
Simple Steps
1. Read the Character Creation Rules (Scroll down).
2. Create a Character Sheet (Scroll down).
3. Post it on Character Application.
4. Make any changes required by The Staff.
5. Wait for approval (a Reply on the thread and a PM will be sent to you).
6. Start your Role Play on The Floor of Test [2F].
Character Creation Rules:
Follow this rules, guidelines and suggestions in order to avoid being required to change or remake your application by The Staff.
1. Unknowns are OK, but do not abuse them. Maybe your character doesn't know his place of origin or his age, but you the writer do. If nobody knows, then it is OK. (i.e. He is not sure yet of what his motivation to climb the tower is.)
2. Do not copy character names from the main story (written by SIU).
3. You can be part of any existing family or create your own.
4. Do not self-proclaim to be a Zahard Princess, a Family leader, or a particularly special member of your family.
5. Assume that nobody lives in the Floor #1 Outer Tower.
6. Assume that people in Floor #43 live excluded from society. Criminals, and wanted people live here. Since there is no Guardian, Director, or
Admins. Assume people from this floor isn't particularly good controlling Shinsoo.
7. Here are some options when choosing your characters gender: Female, Male, Hermaphrodite*, Sexless**. (Bisexuality, or any other sexual preference is not a "gender" but, you can include it next to the gender. Just remember, sexual content is forbidden, so refrain from being too explicit about those preferences.) *It seems to be a possibility (i.e. Le-Ara and Catan) **It is known there are beings that are not considered 'people', but regardless, there should be no restriction on your creativity. (i.e. of a 'could be' sexless: Akryung and Kukaku Rakukakuka)
8. There could be dozens if not hundreds of races/ethnicity in the tower. You can pick an existing one, or create you own. You must, however, remain fairly humanoid. (i.e. Rule#7 has some of the least humanoid looking regulars, but they are still humanoid looking.) Races like Dragons, Unicorns, Dogs, whales, ants will be rejected. On the other hand, Reptilian people, centaur, werewolf, Mermaid & Merman, and humanoid looking insects (i.e. Kukaku Rakukakuka) are perfectly fine. The Staff reserves the right to reject any particular race, however.
9. As age is not an important variable for the most part in the tower. People slow down aging to the point of freezing it after learning how to control shinsoo. Status, rank, and the physical characteristics derived from race or family (Genes) are way more important. (i.e. Kids from the 10 Great Families don't use honorifics to older people)
10. Regulars taller than 9ft (or 3 m) will have to get a contract to become a 'Compression Licensor' in order to swap their size between their regular size and a smaller one. (i.e. Rak Wraithraiser goes from 15ft to 3ft3in. Molic One P. GR goes from 24ft to 6ft6in.)
11. Do not use copyrighted pictures. I recommend everyone to create your own avatar using the avatar creator this forum has, and use it as your character's portrait. But, you are free to find or create your own.
12. Describe your character, and give him realistic and compatible characteristics. (i.e. If your character is shy, do not mix it up with brave, possessive, outgoing, etc.)
13. Do not give yourself over powered abilities or weapons. To get any special ability, you must request it to a Guardian or Axis, after you began the role play, and you will be asked to complete a special quest. (i.e. Redan is a special ability that only certain families have, but we will allow anyone to apply for it, as long as they complete a quest in role play. The same for weapons.)
14. There are 5 main positions in the tower. Fisherman, Spear Bearer, Light Bearer, Scout, Wave Controller. Choose 2 or more positions you would like, and the staff will select your position during the second floor tests.
15. Please request at least 2 positions you like, otherwise we could end up with a really unbalanced team. (i.e. if 20 people participate, and none of them are Light Bearers. We would have to asign that position to someone)
