Lafie comes from a medium sized village called Crosswinds which fills its function as a checkpoints for several trading routes. Small enough that everyone knows everyone, but still large enough to have several inns and so on.

Lafie is a fairly short and slim human female with long, straight white-blonde hair which she usually has hanging free around her shoulders. She has delicate features and some would consider her pretty, if not outright beautiful. She rarely uses body language when she talks, but rather remains calm and still at almost all times. Her eyes are bright green with a piercing quality to them, constantly weighing people she meets and taking in all the surrounding information.
Reason/Motivation to Climb the Tower:
Her family have been innkeepers for many generations, and that was the future set out for Lafie aswell. From the age of ten she has been involved in running the inn properly, but she quickly realised that there was more in life for her. She is extremely curious by nature and this curiosity was sated for a while by all the interesting merchants and travelers coming through her home town and staying at the inn, but even that wasn't enough after a while. She seeks a higher purpose, to explore as much as possible and to gain all knowledge.
Virtues and Values:
Easy to get along with, likes to be in control of every situation but tries to do so in a way which doesn't offend anyone. At a young age Lafie set up a small network of spies in her town, she had all the kids spying for her and telling her the various secrets people had. She never used this knowledge in harmful ways, but the fact that she could was very intriguing for her.
Vices and Bad habits:
Almost too careful, keen to triple check things which usually leads to too much hesitation.
