(lOL I FORGOT THE SCALES WHOOPS bYE) Character Name/s: Alexander XIII, "Alex" Character Family Name: Torine Outer Tower Floor of Origin(2F - 134F): 78 Description of your Town/City/Village/etc: The Torine reside in a small, enclosed area among the White Sturgeon. The Shinsoo is so dense it almost resemles a water, allowing the Torine to traverse freely through it. Because of this, the Torine are much stronger on the lower levels due to the lack of SHinsoo restricting them. Their homes consist of adobe-like structures--as the Torine are very friendly among eachother, the security is very lax. That, and they live amongst the Sturgeons, so they really have nothing to fear. Gender: Male Race: Torine Apparent Age: 17 Hair Color: White, with greyish-blue tips. Eyes Color: Blue-grey rims the pupil, while the iris changes from iridescent green, to deep blue, and finally to black. Skin Color: Pale, with slight blue contouring. Unique Distinction/Birth Mark: A dark mole underneath his left eye, as well as several scars with visible stretching along his body. Height: 5' 11 Weight: 180 lbs General Appearance: Alexander has a very reptilian appearance, with slitted pupils, finned ears, and faint scales along his body. He's slim, but visibly muscular. Reason/Motivation to Climb the Tower: Alexander was kind of bored, and the power seemed kind of tempting. Virtues and Values: Alexander is strong, smart, and bold. He's a good leader when it comes down to it, and can definitely prove his worth. Vices and Bad habits: While Alexander is swift and cunning, he's also kind of stupid. He's easily tricked, lured, and aggravated, and has a quick temper. Though it isn't that he doesn't work well in teams, he has a natural ability to cause friction with others. He forgets things easily, and tends to slip up easily. Oh, and he's ridiculously stubborn. Desired Position/s: Fisherman or Scout Weapon/Ability: 10F HookFavorite quote: "Wow. Jerk." Comments: oh god its too big //sobs

I like it very much actually! I see what you did there with the family and race name. Your family and race is the same, as in the case of Rak Wraithraiser. (Rak uses his race/species name as his family/last name) Very nice! Since you want to be a fisherman (like Rak wanted) or a scout. You probably use a Hook as a fisherman or a Needle as a scout (Some scouts use swords too, and Rak had a spear even though he was a fisherman where he came from) so I suggest you find your weapon before entering the tower. Once you do, you'll be good to go.

Totally!
If you are familiar with the grading system, this won't need much explanation. I will give a random number to your weapon using a random number generator:
10F Hook (F is a default I will use with all new characters.)
If you don't know, there is some info in here: Ranking and Grading . ToG Wiki
P.S: I used this website to get the random number. Mathgoodies

Alright! I had no idea about the ranking system (too complex for me haha) but now I soort of understand.

Yeap! Basically, weapons have 'levels' represented by letters (SS+,S+,S,A,B,C,D,E,F) , and each level also has 'sub-levels' represented by numbers (1 to 10). So, unfortunately you got the lowest 10F, but don't worry. Weapons are not all that helps you pass a test. And I know you will work hard to get a better weapon.
It also, made me think that I should create a system to give/reward and grade weapons to players. ToG has so many things... hehe

Huh... maybe. I was recently on the wiki (since I'm stupid and don't pay attention to the actual manga) and I found out that not all fisherman need weapons, since there's apparently two kinds of fisherman. This character's still a little shaky since I thought of it on the spot, but I'm definitely begining to think about what he would grow into (not really whoops)

I am not sure if they really go bare handed. I haven't seen one or read about it. They go into close combat, but they do use a weapon like a hook (i.e. Anak)

The Fisherman is a great position for melee and mid-range combat. His main objective is to inflict damage to the opposite team or enemy. They are particularly good in one versus one combat. The ideal equipment for a fisherman are 1 or 2 medium Arms Inventory, 1 small Armor Inventory, And 1 Reel Inventory. Fishermen who attach Hooks and Needles to the Line on their Reel Inventory are called Reel Fishermen. On the other hand, there are Man-to-Man Fishermen who excel at close range combat.

I mean, yeah. But they probably wouldn't need as fancy a weapon if they weren't gonna swing it around as much, right? And hehe I'm so excited for the roleplay ovo

Well. Let me help you, because I think a good fisherman needs a weapon to kill Shinheuh (animals in the tower).
This is Anak (A very strong Fisherman)
On the left, we see her Arms Inventory holding a hook, a needle, and (probably) a dagger (or another smaller needle.) On the middle we see her using her hook. (It is bigger because it can grow, but not all hooks can. This one is special.) On the right, we see Anak using a Reel Inventory attached to a Spear (and a observer floating on the side.)
Fisherman are powerful for pvp, but remember that not all the tests involve pvp. In fact, the position of fisherman is called that because you kill aquatic animals (Shinheuh.)
So, you can go bare handed, but eventually will need a weapon. Specially as a fisherman. The scout probably could go around without using his weapon, but it's also good to keep one just in case.
I hope that helps.

It doesn't even really need to be a weapon, we see Hatsu use an iron pipe to fight by funneling shinsoo through it.

Ohh, ok. As much as it sounds like Alex is looking to be a Fisherman, he might end up as a scout. Who knows. Also, is there a limit on how many characters you can create?

Well Hatsu was a Scout who had just lost his favorite weapon. Scouts don't carry many weapons, since they need to be agile. I see how you could use anything as a weapon, but not necessarily for any position. You can, I am not saying it's not allowed or anything like that. It's simply not recommended for a fisherman.
