"Ah, you wanted to form a team with this one? That is a mistake." Ian was referring to the masked man, who had previously tried to kill Rein. He left out the details, and continued,  "I am glad you will form a team with me! Now all that remains is-"

"Hail! My name is Gunthar, son of Cairne the Undying, son of Thull the Mighty, son of Cea the Radiant, daughter of Zahard the King!" 

"-a third teammate..."

The tall one had approached them, and introduced himself. To say his height was the most remarkable thing about him would be incorrect. He had very fair skin, tinged faintly blue, eyes like ice and a shaggy head of silver hair. He wore thick brown rags, like he came from a cold climate. He carried a bloody spear in two hands, and slung a backpack over his back with the other two. Ian realized four arms wasn't typical for humans. The six limbs reminded him of squids and he scoffed with distaste. Gunthar continued.

"You two are warriors as well, I can tell. Form a team under me, and I shall carry you to the top of the Tower!" He turned toward Arianna and sneered. "You get lost, there is no room in the Tower for cowards!"

Ian had no reply for Gunthar, he merely looked at Rein and shook his head in the negative, making a small "X" with a pair of tentacles. Something about Gunthar's alleged heritage was fishy, not to mention Ian hated squids.

Mars Phi

Mars dodged the hook just in time as it cracked the earth next to her. She wasn't looking for a fight especially right now when it was important to work with a team.
The first thing she did was shouting "STOP!" like a leader giving orders. Then she looked into his eyes and asked somethig she wanted to for a while.
"Do you want to see a card trick? "
She looked for her dueling cards, but she couldn't find them.
"Oh no! I forgot that I dropped them in a chicken soup."
She looked towards her new friend with pleading eyes.
"Help me! Say, do you happen to have a pack of kids card games with you, because this is the only way we can convince him to join us. Or we could always try cookies. Everyone loves cookies."

Zephire Aleera

Zephire was walking to were the other two were when the green man attacked Mars with the hook but she dodged it. Then, she asked Zephire for a pack of kids card games
"I'm sorry but I don't have any pack of kids card with me, but I think I've a better way thant using card tricks or cookies." Then she talked to the green man". You see, there's only the three of us around here,we need teams of three people, the time is already running and if you fight any of us you'll be disqualified so I think you'll agree with me if I say that actually your best option is to team up with us, isn't it?".
Zephire hoped that he would be more rational than Mars seemed to be. Or at least, just a little bit rational...

Arianna Nil'Torch Ikard



Arianna stood and observed the two talking. She could hear almost every word the white haired boy and the octopus said to each other. While fascinated by the mechanical voice of the person, being of some species she had never seen before, she noticed the approach of a new regular. Unsure of what to do, even more now than just seconds before, she decided to keep on waiting, not that she would be able to do anything else at this moment.


The arrival of the spear-bearing person posed a threat to her, as she had to from a team with two others. Just thinking about walking to them made her want to run away, yet, she had to do something. Thoughts churned around in her head as of what to do, while she listened to the newcomer. He blurted out something about a grand and puffed up bloodline, too high of himself for her to take him serious, especially since he mentioned the name of Zhahard.
When he looked in her direction, she cringed slightly, and then her eyelids narrowed, as her eyes started to radiate a poisonous green, he had said something to her. Coward was what he had called her. Cowards are those who rely on other's power or reputation to put themselves in a better position, and this fool fit that description. She didn't enter the tower to be called a coward and told to bugger off.


She started walking forwards, glaring at the person calling himself Gunthar. Her expression was just as poisonous as the glow in her eyes.

“It sounds quite far fetched to carry two regulars up the tower. Is it true, or is it an elaborate lie?” she said with a mischievous smirk.

A baang started swirling around her as she came close. She wanted to engage in combat and beat him to a pulp. This was, however, opposing both her training and plans to climb the tower. Arianna’s mind calmed as she fixated on fighting, despite her intentions to just scare off the bastard instead of failing the test by disabling him from climbing.

Rein

"I am APPALLED! How dare you address someone with such a mighty lineage!", Rein exclaimed and then, with eyes filled with adulation, walked towards Gunther.

For his part, Gunther drew himself even higher at the clear praise. Gunther and Rein soon stood 2 feet apart.

"Of course, I would adore serving the mighty Ser Gunther in exchange for the privilege of fighting under a such a strong man! But before we officially ally, allow me to give you a proper greeting that can only befit such a grandiose nature!" Rein proceeded to bow low and paused.

Then, a strange sound was heard. It began as if it were a heavy snore. It soon twisted into such an obscene nasal conflagration that filled the nearby battlefield with no small measure of disgust. After another brief pause, Rein stood up straight and expectorated a giant glob of snot which proceeded to cover the entire face of Gunther, son of Cairne the Undying, son of Thull the Mighty, son of Cea the Radiant, daughter of Zahard the King. From forehead to chin and from cheek to cheek, it quietly started dripping down.

'01:55' One of Lumiere's Lighthouse got closer to a group of Regulars. '01:53' As Lumiere noticed some friction between them, she frowned. At the same time, as if it were a mere reflex, the lighthouse got brighter. '01:50' The timer, unexpectedly, seemed to be accelerating now. '01:42' The lighthouse had changed colors a little bit, it seemed somewhat silver. '01:36' The lighthouse was positioned in such a way that those 4 regulars could see the reflection of their own faces by looking straight forward. '01:29' The lighthouse was in the middle of them, preventing to see each other faces anymore. '01:22'...

The things began to look exciting when Mars dodged his blow, but it was short to live. When he heard her words he froze and his mind stopped working.

After a long time his mind managed to form a sentence. 'She is stupid.' This realization made him think this will not end well for him. Her friend was making sense but he was sure that the other girl will get him in trouble, but what choice did he had.

He made up his mind. He looked at the others and finally said.

"Fine."

Gunther received Arianna's skeptical remarks with poise. His expression seemed to brighten as hers darkened, and he muttered something cryptic under his breath. When Rein approached him, however, his expression curled back into contempt. Gunthar expected a sneak attack to accompany Rein's thinly veiled insults, and the projectile sneeze, while original, didn't catch him off guard. He ignored it.

"Yet another who spits on my name. I would kill you where you stand, but Father forbade me from killing fools for mere insults. 'No point ruling over a kingdom of corpses,' he says. And aye, lass, I can carry anyone up the Tower, but it won't be you."

A lighthouse descended, blocking Gunthar from view, but his heavy footsteps could still be heard as he left.

Ian was lost in thought. Gunthar's claimed heritage, while fishy, still somehow felt genuine, though he couldn't figure out why. His thoughts were interrupted by the test administer, Lumiere.

"Is there a problem, administer? Hmm? It seems your timer is malfunctioning."  In response, the timer ticked down a full twenty seconds. "Ah, I see."

Ian rushed around the lighthouse, grabbing Arianna by the arm and pulling her along. He found Rein next. "Team, yes? Yes."

Despite her contempt towards Gunthar, she was surprised by the action of the white haired person. Who looked more like a girl, now when she had a closer look. First, he/she had spoken, seemingly towards her, but she could be sure. For then to spit the biggest ball of mucous she had ever seen produced by anyone, right into he face of this self-glorified moron. She had lost all ill intent, along with the expression that matched. Now she just stood still, once again, and watched.

Somewhat amused, and disgusted, she observed the lack of reaction from Gunther. Arianna then realized the lighthouse and was caught off guard by the octopus. She cried out a little "Eeph!", when the squid grabbed her and almost lost her balance several times, as she stumbled after him. When she did get her footing, she froze in place.

[Rein]

Rein

To Gunther, as he departs, "You certainly took that well. I must update my assessment."

Then louder, "My mentor has always said, 'First let go of hubris. It is the most obvious of faults.' May my pale imitation of him help you someday."

To Phrygian, "Yes. Yes, let's." And then takes his tentacle.

Finally, he agreed to do a team with bot of them. Then Zephire loocked at her pocket, just less than a minute left.
"Since we all agree, we're in a team now! By the way, shall I ask for your name?" Said Zephire to the green man as she grabbed Mars' arm and extended the other hand to him.

Cyan Chlor

He didn't like it. It's not enough he need to stand Mars now he has to share his name with them. Giving your name is the greatest honor you can do to someone. He didn't want to tell them his name, he didn't want to team up with them. But this stupid rules stopped him from killing.

"Cyan." He answered but this didn't make them friends. They are only temporary allies.

The green man took some seconds to answer, it seemed that she was doubting if they deserved it. Then, she finally said his name, Cyan.
"What an irony... Take my hand, we're almost out of time."

Mars Phi

Mars was beyond happy. He agreed to be their team mate and now she knows the name of her rival.

"This day is awesome." she said in a very loud voice.

She grabbed Zephire's hand and took Cyan's hand when she saw he was hesitating. She jumped around while holding their hands.

"We will made our names known to the tower. This is the beginning of a legend."

The field was almost flooded with blood. It wasn't unusual at all. But there was so much friction between regulars that there had been lighthouses patrolling around them until then. "00:00" All the lighthouses returned to their initial position. "The time is up" Said that low pitched, sweet voice. "Keep holding each others... limbs for a second. You will have some time to rest. The following test will be a race." She said.

All regulars where taken outside of a 1 story building, with no windows. The building was so wide at first no one noticed it had no edges either. The entrance was 15 feet tall and 25 feet wide and nothing could be seen from the outside but darkness. Then, from inside of the building a small light began to shine from far away. At first it appeared to be just a small light. But as it got closer, and regulars realized the the true length of that corridor, one could see the nature of the object. A 7"x7"x7" light house. It took close to 5 minutes for it to reach the entrance, at a shocking speed. "Welcome Regulars, it is so nice to finally meet you all" That sweet voice again.

A short and adorable girl came out of the light house. She had turquoise hair and same color make up around her right eye. Her eyes where azure resembling the reflection of the sky on a glass. Lumière always wears a bandana around her head and two blue earrings. Her outfit was lavender, a pale lavender except for the straps of her bra which were the same color of her hair. Everyone looked at her as she opened her mouth wide. "Wow! You are all so cute!" She smiled pleased. "I am your Test Admin Lumière. Yes, I am a Ranker and my job is to help you get to the next floor. But, you have to be able to do it by yourselves... you'll see". She said confident that it wasn't nonsense, but it probably was as she followed saying.

"From now on, you will be on your own". She pointed to the entrance. "This is sort of a maze, a dark maze. You must get to the other exist quick, as the walls change position every 10 minutes. Once you reach the exit you can help your team mates by sending one observer. The observers will be ready when you exit the maze. It's important you learn how to control them later on, but for now I'll do it for you. I'll be there to follow your orders. Remember, if your team doesn't come out in less than 1 hour you will be disqualified. That's why I call it a race" She smiled. "Also, the walls will close at the end of the hour and everyone inside... could die". She said with no concern on her face. "Well... hummm, I think I don't forget anything. So, if there are no questions, let's begin! Everyone move behind the white line on the floor... On your mark... Get set... Go!"
